Training Areas

Training areas for use are designated by the Duty Officer:

T1:  Off the Pontoons to the bottom end of the Ajax & Warspite piles.

T2:  Upstream: Thames Ditton Island to Barge Walk Marina

T3: Downstream: Piles to Thames Ditton Marina

T4: Upstream: Molesey Lock to Thames Ditton Island

T5: Downstream: Thames Ditton Marina to Kingston Bridge.

• All areas are Scout B1 under normal conditions.

• We do not use Barge Walk Marina for Training.

• Hampton Court, Thames Ditton Island and Kingston Bridges should not be attempted by sailing boats.
